Founded in 2004 by Lee Thornley, Bert & May is a luxury lifestyle brand with a commitment to honest, raw materials and unparalleled craftsmanship. The Bert & May aesthetic and objective to produce cohesive, enduring design is reflected in each of their product ranges.
These include a range of encaustic tiles designed in the UK and hand-poured in Spain, a paint range of 56 colours available in lime wash, eco emulsion or oil eggshell, reclaimed and engineered reclaimed wood for floors and walls, a range of fully-customisable kitchens with an emphasis on raw materiality, simplicity and generous proportions and a range of bathroom sinks – reclaimed or newly cast in concrete in a choice of shapes and natural hues. In addition, Bert & May has recently launched a fabric collection showcasing its signature patterns and muted tones. The fabrics are made and silk-screen printed in the UK and are complimented by a collection of cushions and throws.
